My Goddess Moon

My beautiful lover the moon
Is my Goddess
Framed by a pallid sky
She draws me into the cold of night
My gaze upon her argent allure is brief
I am shamed by her piercing stare.
It looks straight through my skin.
She leaves moon sized scars of moonlight
Patterns repeated in my moonmind's eye.

He's finally admitted to the affair! *sob*

(Grudgingly gives poetic kudos where due.)

Hi I just wanted to say thank you for dropping in to my photoblog. I have been reading, and enjoying a few of your back posts.

Nice poem! It's bizarre that we chose the moon as a subject on the same day/night. Well maybe not since it's so bloody bright right now.

Are you going through a bit of a crisis Rex?

Lorenzo.

I loved your wordimperfect solution today! I can't stop grinning at the thought of a cat with a shaved behind!
You are still winning on yesterday's vote.
Lorenzo.

I'd say he's blogstipated and in dire need of a postative. Hurry up in there Dude. There's a queue out here.

Llamachops; Ah yes, a sure way to gain fringe support, mention cats.
I'm a former mogaholic, but still can't pass a puss without making silly kissy noises at it.
Now, Mags, after the next clearout, I wouldn't want to be the next person in the queue.
It reminds me of a joke my dad told me about a trained monkey and a cork. Remind me to tell it to you when you want to be disappointed. However, on another note, I once had a horn, and I had to obey it, to buy a french horn in a second hand shop. I polished it up and I started to play it in spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop.

Sorry, Freudian slip. I once had a VOW and I had to obey it.

Talking of clearouts, why are you still mooning on about the moon?
Lorenzo.

Lorenzo; I'm a cancerian hippy. 27th was a full moon. Surely I don't need any more reasons than that. More bloggy stuff soon but the job I was whinging about has got more interesting, slightly, and very busy so I'm super-charged with energy but not feeling very creative.

Write us a nice story about a man, a can of aduki beans, a tortilla wrap, an interfering Spanish guy and a stolen bicycle.

I just may do that. But first, I'll stack up loads of comments to make myself look popular.
P.S. He's Italian.

When you speak of being a Cancer, Rex, I'm assuming you mean that in a social setting/relationship sort of way rather than your actual astrological sign. Because that would be one hell of a coincidence!

That's a nice moon, Mags. You gotta admit. Two would be even nicer...
